Location: 441 Clyde Building
About
Kalin Norman is a Doctoral Student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department and has an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, graduated April 2020. He joined the FRoStLab in August 2020.
From Eagle Mountain, Utah, Kalin is interested in vehicle localization and mapping, control algorithms, machine learning, and applications of all of these in both single and multi-agent systems in the real world. In his free time Kalin enjoys exploring new places through a variety of activities including hiking, mountain biking, camping, golfing, rock climbing, visiting national parks, and doing all of the above with his wife, and in the near future with their daughter.
Research
Kalin's research is focused on expanding the applications of cross-modal localization, with applications in single and multi-agent systems, and simplifying the use of multi-modal SLAM.
