Location: 449 Clyde Building
About
Easton Potokar is Master's Student in the Electrical Engineering department and has an undergraduate degree in Mathematics (Applied and Computational Math Emphasis, or ACME, program; graduated April 2020) with an emphasis in signals and systems. He joined the FRoStLab in August 2020.
From Ogden, Utah, Easton has interests in algorithms, machine learning, state estimation, and applications of these in the real world. In his free time Easton enjoys numerous personal projects including running a 3D printing business, operating his self-made CNC and laser engraver, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
Research
Easton's research is mostly focused on the algorithmic side of state estimation and perception, looking to expand and increase reliability of algorithms like SLAM, extended kalman filter, etc.
