About

Andrew McDonald is a master’s student at Brigham Young University studying Electrical Engineering with an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering. He joined the FROST lab in September 2026.

From Broomfield, Colorado, Andrew enjoys hiking, biking and board games. He also does some amatuer photography and bakes sourdough bread!

Research

Andrew does research in Synthetic Aperture Sonar (SAS) for robot localization and mapping.
